Meet at Riverside Adventures Base to get on the shuttle and leave for Jones Landing where you walk 5kms back to the Arapuni Dam - make sure you head up to the Lake Arapuni lookout! View the pink hues of the ignimbrite bluffs of Upper Lake Arapuni where we will meet you at the Arapuni Dam with your bikes and you will make your way back to our base. Stopping at the historical Arapuni Swingbridge is a must whether you ride (or walk) across it. Once back at Riverside Adventures base (BYO picnic or head to nearby Tirau)
Pick up your hire kayak from our base and explore the southern end of Lake Karapiro, enjoy views of the canyon continue through to the picturesque Pokaiwhenua Stream Drift/Paddle back down the stream.
